Watching two lost episodes from abc.com (45-50m each) back to back
uses about half my charge, so we'll say about 4 hours watching video.
Using ssh and working on files gets me about 5 hours. I'll bet if I
went to airline mode I'd get 6.

I bought the entry level laptop and then bought a 500GB hard drive and
replaced the oem 160GB. Interestingly enough, the OEM is rated at
740ma while the 500GB drive only 440ma. So that means the higher
capacity drive could increase my battery life. I only did thsi two
nights ago so haven't had a chance to verify a difference.
