[Cialug] OT: Pre

I might be getting one.  I'm out of my AT&T contract and looking for a phone
I could deal with using for 2 years (I hate the way the US does cell
service), and that I can afford to have unlimited data/text and a few
minutes (which Sprint has the best prices for hands down.  I'm Waiting to
actually use one until I decide though.  I do wish it supported expandable
flash memory instead of going the on board route.

Unfortunately Andriod doesn't have anything available in the US market
that's very good, and the iPhone is amazingly lackluster on features (though
perhaps the next one will be better, but even still they're bound to AT&T
and the prices from that network are awful).

I would like to see Palm remain a contender in the market.  They used to
have amazing devices and I think Web OS sounds like a brilliant platform.
We'll see how it goes.
