[Cialug] OT: More Google OS Speculation

I wonder if Google OS will be to computers what WebOS/PRE is to phones?  Google wants to keep you coming back to the cloud for services and advertisements so might it make sense that the Google OS work a lot like the WebOS on the Pre does?  The device, like a browser, becomes the conduit to the application and only hosts enough of the application to make it marginally useful when off network.  Google Gears, etc.  Lots of web-type interfaces and APIs.
