That's a pretty neat article. I've heard of several of those. Has anyone 
here actually tried ReactOS? I don't imagine it really works much better 
than Linux + WINE, except maybe with a little less overhead?

http://www.distrowatch.com and see what you can find. There are always 
specialty distros popping up that may fit your needs.
