I tried to reinstall xp on a box I built when xp came out no service packs
and micro$oft wouldn't allow me to reactivate my own(paid for) copy of
windows.
I updated to sp2 then sp3 and the bastards still don't allow me to
reactivate. All I wanted to do is activate a clean reinstall with no
hardware changes. What a way to treat their customers...
