That is a good point. For example, you can buy a SIM unlocked and 
hardware unlocked Android phone for $399 and put an ATT SIM card in it 
but the 3G won't work because ATT uses 850/1900 MHz for 3G instead of 
1700/2100 MHz. Though EDGE would still work.
