That's because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Or, Linux isn't Windows, and neither is a Mac.

This is a popular mis-conception. Apple is totally Microsoft, just with a shiny outer shell. They're absolutely bent on market domination using any method possible.

I'm in danger of another rant here so I'll just leave it at that.
