It's worth nothing that dovecot has pretty good kerberos support too
(at least now that the cross-realm patch has been mainlined, though I
suspect I care more about that than most), as well as a SASL mechanism
that postfix, exim, and other services can use, much like Cyrus.
Dovecot may or may not be better suit your needs, but it's an
alternative that fills many of the same roles as Cyrus, and is one of
a diminishing number of actively maintained IMAP servers, so it's
worth keeping in mind.

To those trying to "keep up" with spam filtering, I'd suggest trying a
training-based filtering system (e.g. DSPAM) instead of a rule-based
system (e.g. SpamAssassin). While rule-based systems can have great
results initially they are a pain to keep up-to-date, and they become
less and less effective if you fail to do so. Training-based systems
obviously don't do as well initially, but updates can be as simple as
dragging missed spam into the "Junk" folder. I wasn't sold on training-
based filtering initially, but after a few months with DSPAM I
couldn't be happier.
