The instinct has a better (on paper) and cheaper plan than the iPhone
but still, at $120/mo for a two phone family plan its a bunch of
money. If I drop my land line ($35/mo with vonage) and my current two
cell phone plans (combined = $20/mo with virgin) it's still $65/mo
increase. I would gain features I don't have, like GPS directions,
ubiquitous internet access and being able to watch TV while away (not
that I'd use that).
