*Our up-and-coming client, just north of Des Moines, is seeking
someone
to join their team as a senior systems administrator.    The ideal
candidate will come in and own their small data center.   This person
will administer both Linux and Windows servers.  Their application
development projects include migrating all of their applications and
transitioning to cutting/bleeding edge technology.   This is an agile
environment with a short iteration process that's continually changing.

In a nutshell this role will be the Guru who knows Linux/Windows and
will take ownership of company's the data center.   Comfort level for
a
starting salary is right around 75K with competitive benefits.  

Below are some requirements for the role: 

4 year college degree in MIS, Computer Science or Computer Eng

3 years experience working as a system administrator preferably in a
Linux/Windows environment with expert knowledge of Linux/Unix

Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and MSExchange

Expert knowledge in LAN/WAN networking setup and maintenance in
addition
to experience setting-up/maintaining web servers, application servers,
and messaging servers 

Knowledge of IDS, spam appliances 

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network problems 

Experience working with PBX systems and experience setting up VPN
software 

Experience working with Citrix server and other virtualization
software
such as Xen or VMWare a plus
