I  have been using Dokuwiki at home for almost 3 years now.

It's easy to set-up and use but when the size grows a bit the search  
function can be a little slow.

Josh keeps trying to get me to switch to Mediawiki but I really like  
Dokuwiki's sytnax.

The other issue I have with Mediawiki is that it uses a database  
backend.  Backing up text file is easy.  The database would require  
more work than I have time for at the moment.
