I have a four port Belkin KVM switch that has an external button on top or I
can use the scroll lock+up/down arrow keys to switch computers.

I had a Belkin KVM switch for my desk at work and I would NOT
recommend it, especially if you use the control key a lot (I'm an
Emacs user, so I do). It had a hard coded behavior that would switch
between computers when the control key was held down. If I had been
able to remap the key to something else I would have liked it a lot
but the Belkin firmware didn't allow you to do that.
I didn't replace it with anything because I'm trying to reduce the
number of computers underneath my desk by using virtualization to
create development servers, rather than keeping a number of old PCs
under my desk.
