I don't agree with this statement.
Of course they can make more fuel efficient vehicles than they have
been, but it requires a compromise that consumers don't like. Case in
point, the Geo Metro. If the Metro had sold in record numbers, we'd
have tons of cars like that. People, until recently, didn't want
smaller, they wanted bigger, and thats what we got.
