I was sucked into all the positive reviews regarding the Viewsonic VP930b when it replaced the VP191. I haven't been impress with the readability of text, picture quality is okay though. Considering this was not the least expensive LCD available, I would not recommend it. Anyone else have a VP930b? If so, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

In terms of a quality display that I have never had problems with,
Samsung has been the brand of choice for me. If you are looking into
some of their higher end lines they can be a bit pricey, but I usually
look at the specials on Newegg. They usually have a Samsung on special
every week or two.

I've done the typical checking in town but I was curious which some of you might recommend for quality and price (I know they are competing influences). I guess brands you have had trouble with would too. I can add MAG to the list of ones to avoid as it is the very reason I'm writing this in the first place.
