Just to add information, the computer is actually seeing the wireless
network (the configuration tool displays the signal strength); it just
won't get on.

Resetting the cable modem and the wireless router has already been
attempted. I also disabled my laptop's wireless card for a bit, so
Todd's machine could have the router to itself. Still get the same
error message.

I've been searching, but I haven't been able to find a simple
"CONNECTION FAILED" error message referenced anywhere after
DHCPRELEASE. There is usually a reason given for the failure instead.
