I wonder if OSX is the reason behind this. Having acquired a mac mini
myself, seeing how the OS 'just works', and spending my time on it in user
land or in install-apps-and-develop land, I feel less energized about
troubleshooting stupid X / alsa / package-not-working stuff in linux.
Ubuntu rocks, but unfortunately it's been handing me those rocks for two
months straight now ...
What's funny about it is the time spent troubleshooting worthless crap in
Ubuntu is *still* less than what I'd spend in Windows land, and with
generally better results. Makes me wanna donate to Canonical just
thinking about it.
