[Cialug] OT : Monday night OS release

It is my understanding a new OS is being released to the unenlightened
masses (my wife objected to me using the term "retards") on Monday night.
Will they be lined up like they were for Win 95, or will it be a non-even
since there have been so many betas and release candidates?  Will there be
another opportunity for less expensive upgrades like when win 95 was
released.

Mostly looking to explore conjecture and opinions.
