[Cialug] MythTV project, any suggestions?

I'd agree with the suggestion of Knoppmyth.  I ran the installation with 
no problems and even lirc was working fine against my PVR-250.  Only 
problem I'm having is getting the myth box to change channels on my 
Directv d11-500 tuner (the tuner is supported).  As soon as I get that 
problem licked I'll be loving it.

Also, I've opted to grab the x-arcade joystick which works like a charm 
under linux for MAME.  It definitely has some geek-appeal:

As for space, I've considered getting a couple big SATA drives and 
running LVM on them.  Anybody here running myth that way?
