I always ended up having problems with hibernate on desktop computers.
Strangely my laptop does fine. At work I use the bios settings to boot
my computer every weekday morning. The only drawback is you still have
to log in which takes time as well. At home I just leave the computer
running. Too many services want to do work when the computer is idle.
So if you put the computer into hibernate then all that work has to
happen when you're trying to use. (Btw, all are MS Windows computer.)
