No, but in my mind, "Atanasoff" was "uh-TAN-uh-soff." When I was at
ISU looking for the building, the folks in the library pronounced it,
"At-an-ASS-off." I'd like to find out how it's really pronounced so I
don't make an asoff myself the next time I'm using it in spoken
conversation.
