We're helping AOL spread the word about this exciting coding event on
Friday, November 17--streamed live for the very first time. Please let

details:

AOL and TopCoder have announced that the 2006 TopCoder Collegiate
Challenge

will be webcast live on Friday, November 17.  This global event will be
presented on the internet for the first time bringing the drama of
competitive coding at the highest level. The competition brings 64 of the
world’s best collegiate programmers competing against the clock and each
other for a share of $200,000 in prizes. This event will be produced live
from San Diego, California and distributed worldwide exclusively via AOL's
developer site http://dev.aol.com/. Watch the competition unfold live
starting 1:30 pm PST/4:30 EST (21:30 GMT). Over the course of the four
hour webcast, viewers will be able to watch the high stakes software
competition through live views of the arena, entertaining profiles,
and interviews with contestants--and in-depth coverage of the final
results--in real time.
