For those of you who hate squirrelmail etc:

Roundcube - if you haven't already seen it- is a pretty good alternative in
Php.

You will want to get the CMS version instead of the released TAR for best
results.
It has some ajaxish features and is a little slow, but make me much happier
that squirrelmail or trying to set up horde.  It works with your SMTP server
and IMAP server as they can even be located on different machines.
