resolv.conf on sarge had
search
nameserver 204.127.203.135
nameserver 216.148.225.135
so I checked my mandriva box and it had
nameserver 204.127.203.135
nameserver 216.148.225.135
so I changed sarge to same as mandriva without any luck
I reset my cable modem and linksys router with no change.
I can ping and ssh to/form sagre from to any linux box on my network,
but sarge is the only one that can't get out ot the real world, arrrgghh
