I was the one who brought this up and ended up purchasing the treo 650,
I have had very good luck with it. I use it with sprint service and
have been happy with the data speed. You could get a wifi "sled" like
https://www.enfora.com/shop/detail.aspx?ID=43 so you can use wifi as
well as the memory card.
It was a dramatic upgrade from my 6035 and I love the hires screen, MP3
player, higher speed, and SD card slot. Using frodo I can enjoy playing
MULE when I get bored.
The only issues I have had with it were a few crashes that I haven't
been able to decide what caused (seemed to be related to plugging the
charger in with the phone in roam), but popping the battery out brought
it right back (with no data loss because of the battery backed RAM).
On a scale of 1-10, I give the treo 650 a 9, counting off for the couple
of crashes and the non gaming friendly d-pad.
