Tomcat should be rotating it's localhost files and it clobbers the
catalina.out file each startup. So, I wouldn't think that that would
be it. But you never know.
Also, just make sure that the port isn't already bound with something
else. It's a stupid mistake that everyone makes at least once in
their lifetime (that means I've taken about 3 other peoples'
turns!!!).
