The only thing I don't like about godaddy.com is that as far as I know I can't register a dns server. I can only point it to an existing dns server that I'll also have to pay for. Network Solutions costs more but it allows me to register a dns server.

  Thanks Dave, but not in need of hosting.  I'm planning on doing my own website for a while to force myself to learn some of the finer controls in Apache and other software.
  I've looked at godaddy.com and they do have good pricing.
  I'll have to look into gkg.net.  Also, I didn't know that Freese Notice did registrar stuff.  I'll have to check them out as well.
