Last I heard (maybe about 1.2 months ago) ISU surplus had some P4 1.4GHz Dell systems (monitor included) for somewhere around $2-400, and some P3 500-1GHz boxes in the $50-100 range. http://www.iastate.edu/~centrals/isusurplus.htm
