Thanks David I may try Mandriva. I also want to conect remotly have you had any experance with Real VNC for remote connections?

That should run just about any linux distro.
I'm running the latest Mandriva 2005 LE (aka Mandrake 10.2) on a P2-366
laptop with 128mb RAM and a 3gb HD (IBM 600e). Works great, except for
having trouble with IBM's funky sound chips.
