[Cialug] distro suggestions

Do you plan on doing anything specific, or just a general setup?

I have an old HP Pavilion laptop with a 600 Mhz celeron that was
a dual boot Redhat 9 / Windows 2000 machine.

I've since passed it along to my kids for games,
but performance was as expected for 600Mhz.
