One of my big gripes with Linux has just been fixed with the release
of Autopackage 1.0, in other words I've been asking why isn't there an
easy to use installer that I can use on any Linux distro regardless of
what desktop environment im using.  Autopackage an easy to use
installer that has a Terminal interface, QT & GTK frontends as well as
QT & GTK Software managers & uninstallers.

I hope this gets picked up my most distros as a great way to
distribute Linux software. OSNews just published a great article about
