[Cialug] Gnupg and securing your secring.gpg file

OK, one little tiplet before I finally nod off for the even^H^H^H^Hmorning.
If you want to store your secring.gpg file on, say a USB flash drive or
other media not directly connected to the computer you use for
encrypting email, you can specify an alternative location in the
~/.gnupg/gpg.conf file. In fact, you can specify many options there, so
have a look at it. Example:
secret-keyring /mnt/usbflash/secring.gpg
Be sure to keep that USB drive secure or on your person at all times.
If the secring.gpg file is compromised, you are brule, as they say ;)
(BTW, what's an easy way to add foreign accents to plain text? Brule
should have a ' over the e.)
