It's a great tool. Just make sure to start small, try and use as many
templates as you can. You may also want to check out Fruity. It's a
front end for configuring Nagios. I've heard some pretty good things
about it and it is activly being developed.
http://fruity.sourceforge.net/ We are currently running Nagios 1.2, but
will soon (as soon as it's out of beta) be switching to Nagios 2.0. and
run queries against our system database to pull systems into our
configuration automatically.
