You might want to look into some of the older turtle beach cards.
Reasonably priced, quality audio, Linux support.

I'm not sure what the level of support is for the creative AWE64 cards but I
would have to guess there are drivers for them.. anyone?

In a computer it might be more important to make sure you have a good
quality power supply - both in the computer and to the computer, and keep
the sound card and its connectors away from internal power connectors and
other sources of buzz and hum.

Subject: [Cialug] Linux audio card and driver

I have an audio server application that I need to use a professional level
audio card.

The spec for the project requires a sound card to be a level above the
SoundBlaster cards.

We are using LINUX OS on the server. I need to be able to use lineIn to
record audio and lineOut/SpeakerOut to play the content back.

Does anyone know of any high end audio cards that I can also get LINUX
drivers.
This is a radio station application.

Any suggestions or places to look would be much appreciated.

Thanks
