Nope, but I feel your pain. I have a duel 250Mhz box as a file/print/CVS
server at home. Compiling a new kernel or a new Gcc is painful.
What about trying a knoppix?

Were you there when the brain trust tried to install it on my laptop (333
Mhz)? We did pretty well but we all ran out of patience waiting for it to
emerge something.
