It's not so easy. At home I work on my SO's machine with S/W that
_requires_ windows. She prefers strongly to stick with the same
environment she has at work. It's a classic case of domestic tranquility
trumping reliable technology.

A lot of the CAD/CAM stuff I use is available _only_ for Windows so
there isn't a _lot_ of conflict - it's just that the occasional
incompatibilities and BSDs constitute background irritation I could do
without.

(Tho I might be one of relatively few Windows users who keeps a Knoppix
CD handy as a "rescue" disk :-) )
