FYI. thought someone might find this of interest. This is a fairly robust
product and almost a drop-in replacement for Microsoft Exchange.
Not affiliated, I just tried it once and was reasonably impressed. Didn't
inhale.

Subject: Give Scalix A Fresh Look
Scalix is pleased to announce Scalix Community Edition, a free unlimited use
version of our email and calendaring software on Linux. Community Edition
won the Best Messaging Solution award at LinuxWorld, San Francisco, in
August, 2005, which was the second straight time Scalix won this award.
Community Edition was created for organizations wanting a free email and
calendaring system. It provides unlimited use of Scalix Web Access, the
industry's most advanced web mail client. Community Edition is also for
organizations using legacy free email systems who want a more modern
environment. It is a compelling free "upgrade" as it offers advantages in
end user functionality and email administration, including:
* Robustness of a field-proven, commercial grade email platform that offers
superior reliability, scalability and security
* Industry's most advanced web mail client with desktop grade functionality
* Ease of installation and administration
* Flexible, open architecture that can be customized, extended and
integrated
* Seamless upgrade path to Scalix Enterprise Edition for advanced
functionality, including native full-function Outlook support, group
scheduling, public folders and advanced wireless email/PIM support
Community Edition consists of:
* Scalix email server, a robust, commercial-grade, highly scalable, secure
and reliable platform
* Scalix Web Access with integrated personal calendaring and address book.
It works in Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Firefox on Windows, Linux,
Macintosh and Unix desktops
* Support for all leading POP/IMAP email clients
* GUI installation wizard and web-based administration console
