[Cialug] DNS Issues

Entries in the /etc/hosts file resolve fine (name or IP). Anything
else does not. I did not configure bind for this server because it was
working fine just having Qwest's DNS servers and then hosts to cover
the internal network. nscd is up and running. Am I missing a program
somewhere that works with resolv.conf?
THanks,
Stuart
