[Cialug] Wireless over Linux recommendations?

Ok, my wireless B router decided to die...the wan port is no longer 
functional which has been verified by the fact the wlan link like will 
not light up and I can't obtain a dhcp ip from on the wan interface from 
my linux box (same line to my desktop works fine).

This is probably as good a time to upgrade routers and nics.  What 
routers can any of you recommend and which linux friendly nics should I 
consider (mixing brands doesn't bother me).

The cheaper the better.
