Yea, he needs the AACRAID driver for sure. Although if the firmware is not
a certain
revision even with the AACRAID driver the kernel will panic because
something
in the module checks to make sure the firmware is a certain version or
higher or
otherwise it panics. I have been down that exact road before which is why I
have less hair today:)
