[Cialug] spamassassin - not doing "rewrite_subject"

I'm running Spamassassin (called thru a custom cyrus-impad deliver 
script), it was previously working, but after an update, it's not quite 
working right.

Spamassassin isn't putting [SPAM] in the subject. I can see in the 
headers that it is marking spam correctly. In my 
/etc/mail/spammassassin/local.cf I have these lines:

rewrite_subject 1
subject_tag [SPAM]

... seems to be ignoring those or something.

Any ideas?
