I'm all cool with the cabling, the problem is getting invalid pcm when
accessing the different dsp devices. I think I may have gotten it
working late last night, but I was working from upstairs and it is
plugged into the tv downstairs and I was too lazy to go see.
I had to manually setup the 2 cards in modules.conf in the order that
seems to work:
alias snd-card-0 snd-bt87x
alias snd-card-1 snd-atiixp
(and all the other junk that goes along with it)
I think the root of the problem is that alsaconf doesn't try to setup
more than 1 device.
