Hi,<br>
<br>
Could we make a blog where which several people could initiate articles and others reply? Could this be a part the website? I have a lot of questions now. Stuart's comment brings to mind the recent discussion about the website and the purpose of the group. I suspect a blog might have been a better site for this than the list server. Maybe if we had it I could start a good discussion about the purpose of the website.<br>

Tumblr is a free service and <a href="http://wordpress.com">wordpress.com</a> (the commercial product) is very cheap.</div>
<div><br></div><div>However, the difference between a blog and a mailing list is that everyone already uses e-mail. It's part of our normal daily activities on the computer. Not so for the dmmug website. It is not a daily routine for most of us to go check it, find out if there's comments and participate. Therefore it will probably not get nearly the attention as the mailing list.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Another possibility would be to create a Facebook fan page. It lets people post comments, share links, photos, videos and all the stuff Facebook is known for. I've noticed among the "20 somethings" and younger group, this is a very popular way to keep in touch. However, that crowd is not exactly the typical demographic of Mac users. ;-)</div>
