Not the Mad Max future, I dont know if any one else here read Make magazine or is into any of that stuff but Apple used to be about making things, first computers, then programs, then publishing, then the web. It was making it easier to make, and this is why creatives went to apple, but they saw the writing on the wall with the success of the ipod, and dont get me wrong I love the ipad, but like its sibling the pod it is a consumption device. And that is fine, I like to consume as much as the next guy, but I am also a "Maker" and I hope apple stays somewhat true to its maker roots.
