That is a hex code, and you won't find it on your keyboard (at least, I couldn't). But there is a way to use it if you're willing to jump through a couple of hoops.<div><br></div><div>Assuming you're using 10.6...</div><div><br></div><div><ol class="MailOutline"><li>Open System Preferences -> Text & Languages and go to the Input Sources Tab. Check "Keyboard & Character Viewer." A new menu should appear to the left of your clock.</li><li>Pull down this new menu and select "Show Character Viewer." A window will appear.</li><li>In this new window, there is a View pull-down. Open this and select "Code Tables."</li><li>Click to the Unicode tab if it is not already selected.</li><li>In the upper portion of the window, scroll down to 00002300 "Miscellaneous Technical" and select it.</li><li>In the lower portion of the window, scroll down to the 2320 line.</li><li>The alt character is in column 5.</li><li>Click Insert</li></ol><div><br></div><div>Or you could just copy it from right here: ⌥</div></div><div><div>
