Alan, I have to assume by the "Shared" menu, you mean the shared section of the sidebar, as there isn't actually a menu named "Shared".<div><br></div><div>What you are seeing are other computers on your network that are appearing and disappearing. I would suspect that you are using a public wireless connection, such as a coffee shop. Another possibility is that you have an insecure wireless network in your home, and people are utilizing it without your knowledge other than this. Finally, there is a slim possibility that your cable modem is misconfigured so that you are not firewalled off from a neighbor. This was actually common with early cable modems, and is quite rare now.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Anyhow, if you are on a public network and seeing these devices, do not fret. While they can see your computer, they cannot get in, provided you don't have anything turned on in the Sharing System Preference or you've created secure accounts and do not have guest access turned on.</div>

you can go to Apple.com and set up a phone support call and explain the whole problem in the message so the person you speak to has an idea of the reason for the support call. Seems easier than going out to the Apple Store - maybe a first step.<div>
<br></div><div>I certainly don't know but if you are having things show up in the finder window you might go to the Prefs for Finder and check on what is listed as contents on sidebar =- I don't know what Neighborhood would be other than perhaps you have Bluetooth or Bonjour enabled??? And they/it are picking up signals??<div>

The problem is located in Finder application, on the Shared menu, under the submenu All: random named URL's are showing up and are listed as Neighborhood.<br>

The most recent URL to show up is "<a href="http://wildfire.gigya.com" target="_blank">wildfire.gigya.com</a>"<br>
<br>
It does not go away with a reboot.<br>
<br>
Does anyone know what causes this issue? Is it a security issue?<br>
