I'm planning on getting a pair of 4G sticks in late Dec from OWC. www.eshop.macsales.com, they have them at the cheapest price I could find online and locally, for $255. They also claim to ship the same day and offer free standard ground shipping. The Mac Pro model I have only accepts the FB DDR2-PC5300 667 MHz. Unless someone knows something I don't, the faster DDR2s for 800 MHz+ wouldn't work for the 2006/2007 model with the quadcore Intel Xeon's 'Woodcrest' processor.

-A.
--- On Wed, 11/25/09, David McLaughlin <thorgrim@imaginarytower.org> wrote:

From: David McLaughlin <thorgrim@imaginarytower.org>
Subject: Re: [DM-MUG] Update RE: Pokey Snow Leopard
To: "Des Moines Mac Users Group" <dmmug@dmmug.org>
Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 9:29 AM

> I'm thinking I'll
