get the sense it was all that tough, just that he ran out of time.
Perhaps it's something that could be done fairly easily = it's not as
if we have loads to upload = we're mainly in need of [1] meeting info
before them and after and [2] occasional posting of reviews or items
of interest to all.</div>

<div>If there is not a transition soon, to someone willing and able to
take over the website, and David doesn't want to continue it then
it'll be a dead website just after people dug deep and contributed,
even when they could not afford it, and we paid $80 to keep the domain
name. Doesn't make much sense to me, frankly.</div>

<div>The benefit of a blogging format is that once the site is greated
and domain name patched over to it, then we can all share in the
upkeep = we don't have to ask webmaster to upload, if you have a
review or whatever it can be posted...but again, it's up to DMMUG
members.</div>

For how long? What would this entail? It'd be quite a learning
experience. I'm afraid I'm not as savvy as the current webmaster. I
use GoLive and Fireworks for web work. I know basic HTML. It sounded
like a template was used so I could likely pick up or manage. I'm
willing to add to the little I know of it. I've only been able to find
part time work, so I have the time.<br>

I could transition to volunteer as webmaster and assume the role in
mid-November, after I move to my new place. If someone else prefers or
is better skilled wants it, and more local, by all means I don't
object to them taking on the role. <br>
