again for asking. Half the fun is being able to share the info with friends and to feel proud that I actually, finally, got one of my books in print. Whether it is 3rd party or self-published, is a big deal to get a book published because there is SOOOOO much work involved. But I did it because my belief that the economy is going to crash has given me the determination to do things that I might otherwise lack the courage or motivation to do. The result, even with some mistakes scattered through it, is something that has been bringing me a lot of satisfaction just because I did it. Being disabled, I did it working mostly from a hospital bed where I have my computer hooked up to a 32" TV and use a separate keyboard on my lap, and where I survived a serious computer crash in which I lost large sections of another book. (Whatever caused the crash, it was so bad that even the back up drive had to be erased. But the cookbook was okay.)
