which says that the fan/heat is not from Time Machine, so I was wrong on <BR>
that. I have no open programs except Microsoft Word and Entourage The temp <BR>
is at 145 degrees and the temp record since I got Leopard is overall higher <BR>
so the only thing I can conclude is that Leopard runs hotter. <BR>

I then went to Apple on-line support for Leopard and found others were <BR>
complaining of the same issue--heat and noise. If any of you have any fixes <BR>
for this, I (and presumably those at the apple support place (key words <BR>
leopard runs hot) would really appreciate it. Otherwise, I plan to uninstall <BR>
it and go back to Tiger. <BR>

laid down <BR>
brush strokes. But within a few minutes of using it, I unplugged it, <BR>
realizing that that I'd have been smarter to take the time to use a <BR>
$20 <BR>
flash drive every so often because, with Time Machine running, the <BR>
computer <BR>
heats up a lot more, driving me nuts when I am trying to focus on <BR>
creative <BR>
work with that irritating noise of the fan running and from the <BR>
heat on my <BR>
palms. <BR>

I'm sure Apple will come along with fixes for the bugs and that <BR>
over time <BR>
I'll adapt to the changes, but as someone who is not computer savvy <BR>
and can <BR>
only review from a superficial level, at this point, I can't say <BR>
getting <BR>
Leopard was worth the price. <BR>
