issue....probably

My sister freaked when something went wierd on a recent download
of iTunes 7.3 -- I asked my sister to let me know what was going on
with her MBP when she got home to check it out, after forwarding her
info from here. She says the following = evidently the iTunes
download and SuperDrive update maybe the the culprit. If this is
only an icon thing I would suggest she remove them [click and drag off
dock? holding option down?] and move forward. Maybe she's okay
and things are working now?

okay here is the
deal. turn on machine; small icon is now to the immediate left
of the bar at the bottom in the dock that separates Apply OS-X and
Trash from all the rest - it is called the Superdrive Update 2.1 and
it has never been there before I asked for the 7.3 upgrade to iTunes.
when I log on my message reads: No devices were found that
require this firmware update. I tried to remove from the dock
and was unsuccessful. Obviously it's not harming anything thus
far if you are reading this message so I am not stressed about it,
just would like to remove from dock - should I drag over to trash or
do you think it's necessary....
